Capital valuations can be carried out for accounts purposes or for purchase. We subscribe to the RICS Red Book Asset Valuation Manual and all our valuations are carried out in accordance with its directions. We carry full professional indemnity insurance to cover the client in the unlikely event of a claim arising from a valuation. We can also advise on reinstatement valuations for insurance purposes. When valuing a property, we often come across and comment upon issues that are of relevance to the client, e.g. future development, Health and Safety, letting potential of vacant space and more efficient use of the premises.
Purposes of Report:
As members of the RICS, we are qualified to undertake valuations for a variety of purposes, including;
- Property purchases
Valuation reports conducted by RICS valuers are generally accepted as proof of value by lending institutions, subject to the report being recent.
We also conduct valuations for pension transfer purposes and work with your advisors to set the correct rental level and lease terms where the transaction involves company assets being transferred to a private scheme.
